Thank you for taking the time to visit our campaign website. Since my election as your Circuit Judge in 2006, it has been my honor to serve the citizens of NW Florida. A Circuit Judge presides over the most serious types of criminal, family and civil cases in our trial court system. For this reason extensive legal experience and integrity are absolutely critical to be able to make fair and appropriate rulings under the law.

It is important that our judges have the will and the ability to punish the guilty and side with those who have been wronged in a civil dispute. But our justice system is more complex than that. When families come before the court, their disputes can greatly affect the well-being of their children. Our families deserve the most experienced judges to serve them in the judicial system.

As your Circuit Judge I have been responsible for over 10,000 cases, and have presided over more than 500 trials. I am pleased to have created the first Unified Family Court in Okaloosa County to more effectively and efficiently serve our families with the one judge, one family concept. I have also established a Model Dependency Court to bring best practices to resolve the difficult problems of child abuse and child neglect in our community.
